Letter #2

Dear you,


Yesterday I stumbled upon something on the internet. A very old blog. One I remember maintaining when we were in the eleventh standard. 


It left me thinking. How effortless everything used to be. Thoughts, imaginations, feelings, daily chores, laughter, long waits outside the class to get a glimpse of the someone special, terrible lectures ending up in the most memorable lunch breaks, cheap cigarettes making us the coolest kids in town, the only street-side stalls that we could afford, the horribly-ribboned Valentine’s Day gifts, the poorly worded poems. And the very effortless us, soaking in the rain, sipping on our 5 rupee tea and talking endlessly about everything. 


I created a new blog today. Only to write the articles the client had asked to. It’s just a sample one. They want to test my writing skills. The poems are quite useless in marketing, you see.
